Meet Your Instructors

  • Adam Mayfield

    Adam is a certified Wilderness Survival and First Aid Field Instructor. He can fit over 20 years of professional bushcraft experience into a space the size of a fanny pack and thrive across nearly any terrain. He has taught at the most highly regarded schools in existence today, including Boulder Outdoor Survival School.

  • Kate Parsons

    Assistant Professor at Pepperdine University, and holds an MFA, MA, and BFA degree and is certified in wilderness first aid.

    Kate is a 5th generation Montanan and has lived off-grid regularly. She is working towards her HAM radio license and Permaculture Design certificate.

  • Rob Mullins

    Rob is an instructor at one of the world’s leading survival schools as well as a Wilderness First Aid Instructor. He reached senior executive level for a Forbes 107 company by age 40 and has helped hundreds of private clients to life, leadership, career and business success. He holds a pending ACC accreditation from the International Coach Federation and is an Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC.

  • Virginia Novello

    Virginia is an Artist Embodiment Guide and a Certified Breath tantric teacher. After a long journey of not only accepting her body but truly living in it, she understood the need to somatically release trauma, pain and any stories that are stored in our bodies and don’t serve us anymore.

  • This course is for anyone who wants to learn about techniques to improve their resilience anywhere. This course is an introduction to topics more deeply explored in our 3- and 7-day curriculums.

  • For our online course, just bring yourself and something to take notes. We would also recommend an environment with few distractions for the best experience.

  • We will return with a 3-day course on-site near Big Bear, California, March 17th-19th. Check our shop for more details.

  • Our course is not designed specifically for kids, however kids 13 and up are welcome!
